The Mini rack is the ideal solution for businesses who are utilizing the Mac mini as a server, but are in need of precious rack space. The Mini rack fits the bill by allowing you to up to eighteen Mac minis in just under 5U of rack space*. We've also packaged in a programmable status panel featuring iLumi technology. By running a small status monitor on each Mac mini, you can easily alter the status light's color and intensity. It's perfect for quickly identifying minis on the rack that have error conditions such as high internal temperature or critically-low disk space. Each Mini rack rail comes with six Mini mounts. Each Mini mount is individually connected to a single Mac mini and inserted into the rail. All of the necessary mounting hardware is included. Just plug in all the cabling and power up. The Mac mini is a great server. It's powerful, offers ample storage and memory, ultra-low power consumption, and comes pre-installed with OS X Server. Installing it into a rack mount has been a bit tricky in the past. There are multiple 1U solutions out there, but solutions to mount more than six have been nonexistent— until now. With Mini rack, you can easily cluster up to eighteen Mac minis on a standard rack shelf. The resulting power-house-on-a-rack is perfect for single service servers, XGrid computing, audio/video rendering farms, or full servers running next to their stand-by hot swap. Features
